HD-R1
The HD-R1 is a two-channel, 1U rack-mount solid-state recorder and player that records to CompactFlash cards in WAV or MP3. It was aimed at sound contractors doing broadcast and installation work, and it has been discontinued.

The HD-R1 records and plays back two channels of audio on CompactFlash media, with a USB host port for USB flash storage. It handles PCM files at 16 or 24 bit and MP3, at sampling rates of 44.1, 48, 88.2 and 96 kHz.
Inputs include balanced XLR mic/line connectors with a 20 dB pad and phantom power, Euroblock terminals, unbalanced RCA, and S/PDIF digital. Front-panel rotary controls set input level. The headphone jack has its own level control. Playback features include power-on-play, input through with auto fade, monitoring or mixing of the live stereo input with playback, and program, folder, shuffle and interval play modes.
For installed systems it offers RS-232 serial control, a 25-pin parallel remote interface with 16 direct-play inputs, and a 100 Mbit/s RJ45 Ethernet port for file transfer and control.
