SH-01A
The SH-01A is a compact Roland Boutique-format synthesizer that recreates the SH-101 monosynth using Analog Circuit Behavior modeling. It adds four-voice polyphony, patch and pattern memory, and CV/Gate and MIDI/USB connectivity for studio and live use.

The SH-01A models the circuits of the classic SH-101 down to component level, covering the oscillator, filter and envelope. It keeps the original single-oscillator, filter, amplifier and LFO signal path and slider-based layout, in a much smaller body with a metal front panel.
Beyond the original's mono mode, it offers Unison, Chord and Poly assign modes using up to four voices. It stores 64 sound patches and 64 sequencer patterns, with a step sequencer of up to 100 steps. An arpeggiator provides Down, Up and Up&Down modes, note hold and a three-way transpose switch. The LFO has additional waveforms and a wider clock rate range, and two ribbon controllers are fitted.
For connections, it has CV and Gate outputs and an external clock input for modular or vintage gear, MIDI In and Out, and a Micro-B USB port that carries MIDI and audio, allowing use as an audio interface. It can sync to internal or external MIDI clock, USB, the LFO clock or a trigger input. Power comes from four AA batteries or USB bus power, and a built-in speaker is included. The optional K-25m keyboard unit and DK-01 dock are compatible.
