Beschrijving
The FANTOM 6 EX is the 61-key model of the FANTOM EX series. It combines ZEN-Core, ACB, V-Piano, SuperNATURAL and Virtual ToneWheel organ engines with model-based sound generators and more than 7,000 tones. Expansions for the ACB and Model engines can be loaded from Roland Cloud through a USB flash drive, and owners of the original FANTOM can use an upgrade offered there.
For composing and performing it has a 16-track sequencer with clip-based workflow, TR-REC step recording and piano-roll editing, a keyboard multisampler, a 16-pad sampler, an arpeggiator, chord memory and a 32-band stereo vocoder. Controls include a 7-inch colour touchscreen, 16 RGB pads, eight sliders, eight knobs and a set of sound-modifying knobs. Control modes are provided for Ableton Live, Logic Pro, MainStage, Cubase and Studio One.
Connections include balanced XLR and 1/4-inch main outputs, sub outputs, two mic/line inputs, MIDI in and out, two CV and two gate outputs, and a USB audio/MIDI port that works as a 16x3 audio interface. The other EX models share the same features and differ only in keyboard, size and weight.
