JDX 48

The JDX 48 taps a small signal from the circuit between an amp head and its cabinet. A reactive load picks up both the head's sound and the cabinet's impulse. Radial's JDX speaker emulation then shapes this into a balanced output with a character similar to a dynamic microphone placed on a 4x12 half stack. This can help on stages where feedback is a problem, where miking the amp isn't practical, or where in-ear monitor users want the same tone each night.
The unit can run from 48V phantom power supplied by the mixing console, which removes the need to carry a power supply to the gig. A separate DC power supply is also included, so there is a backup when phantom power isn't available.
It works with electric guitar and with bass. The direct signal can also be blended with a microphone on the cabinet, and the Radial Phazer can time-align the two. Accessories for mounting include the TrainTrack Plus pedalboard brackets, J-Rak 4 and J-Rak 8 rack adapters, and the J-Clamp flange mount.
