The fact.3 is a two-way compact loudspeaker built around PMC's Advanced Transmission Line (ATL) bass loading, with an effective line length of 1.7 m. It pairs two 140 mm (5½") bass drivers with a 19 mm (0.75") soft-dome tweeter with ferro-fluid cooling and a 34 mm wide surround. The crossover frequency is 1.7 kHz.
The design is described as easy to drive, with a stated sensitivity of 89 dB (1 W at 1 m) and an 8 ohm impedance. Frequency response is quoted as 35 Hz to 30 kHz. User controls allow the low and high-frequency response to be tailored to the room and source equipment. It is intended for small to medium sized rooms and for listeners with limited floor space.
