The XPRS 12 combines a 12-inch ferrite low-frequency driver with a 1.75-inch titanium diaphragm compression driver in a 15 mm birch plywood enclosure. A Powersoft Class D amplifier module delivers 2400 W peak or 1200 W continuous, with Power Factor Correction to lower power draw. An acoustic tube inside the cabinet (AFAST) is designed to absorb standing waves and improve low-to-mid response. The speaker is sold individually, not as a pair.

A rotary selector on the back switches between four EQ modes: Flat, Bass +, Speech and Wedge. The horn rotates 90 degrees with 90 x 60 degree dispersion, so the speaker can be placed vertically or horizontally. Protection circuitry guards the drivers, amplifier and power supply, and the auto-ranging power supply adapts to the local voltage, including generator or temporary supplies.

Two balanced XLR/TRS combo inputs and an unbalanced RCA input let a microphone and line-level sources be connected together. Two balanced XLR through outputs feed further speakers or subs. The wedge shape allows use as a floor monitor, and the cabinet has rigging points for wall or ceiling mounting plus a pole mount socket that can be set straight or tilted 7 degrees. Handles are built in for transport. Registering within 90 days of purchase extends the warranty to up to 7 years.
