The P-608M is a closed dynamic in-ear earphone in an aluminium housing, which is intended to isolate outside noise and limit sound leaking to people nearby. It uses a 10 mm driver with a high-flux magnet. Three sizes of ear tips (XS, S and M) are supplied for fitting.
The microphone is a very small capsule placed near the mouth and is separate from the controller, which keeps handling noise down during calls. The controller handles volume and answering or ending a call.
The cable is a 1.2 m Y-type lead ending in a gold-plated 3.5 mm straight plug, so it can be used with a wide range of players and phones. It was offered in four colours: Space Gray, Silver, Gold and Rose Pink, each with its own model number and JAN code. The maker lists the price as open price and has marked the model as discontinued.
