Platform D3 is an add-on display unit that attaches to a PlatformNano controller. It carries eight OLED screens, one per channel, which show the channel name and the current value of the controls so parameters can be followed without looking at the computer screen. The OLED panels are described as offering better contrast, higher brightness, wide viewing angles and fast refresh.
The unit is built in a robust metal casing and is compact. Its tilt angle can be adjusted to suit different viewing positions. Installation onto the PlatformNano is described as simple, since the unit is modular and made for that series.
Using it with a Platform Nano requires firmware v. 1.13 or higher on the Platform Nano. Listed operating system compatibility covers macOS from OS X 10.11 El Capitan up to 10.15 Catalina, and Windows 7 to 11. A quickstart guide for pairing it with Platform Nano is available as a download.
