Beschrijving
The SR300EB is a four-string electric bass with an Okoume body, a five-piece Maple/Walnut SR4 neck and a Jatoba fretboard with white dot inlays. It has 24 medium frets, a 864 mm (34") scale and a 305 mmR fingerboard radius. Hardware is black, and the bridge is the Accu-cast B120 with wide string slots.
Two passive PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups feed an Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ with treble, mid and bass controls, a volume knob and a pickup balancer. A 3-way Power Tap switch selects tapped (single-coil), series (humbucking) or Power Tap mode, which adds low end to the tapped sound. Each EQ band has a range of roughly ±15 dB.
The bass is strung with D'Addario EXL165 strings (.045/.065/.085/.105) in G-D-A-E tuning. It is a wired instrument with no digital connectivity. Ibanez lists the MB300C case and IBB540-BK gig bag as recommended accessories.
