The Soul POG joins two separate circuits: a transparent overdrive (Soul Food) and a polyphonic octave generator (Nano POG). Each section has its own footswitch and LED, so either can be used alone or both together. A toggle switch in the middle sets which one comes first in the signal chain, and a Mode switch changes how the octave-up voice responds to playing.
The overdrive section has Drive, Treble and Volume controls. The octave section has Dry, Sub Octave and Octave Up level knobs, giving a blend of the unaffected signal with a sub-octave and an octave-up voice. The circuit is analog and digital, with buffered bypass.
A send and return pair of quarter-inch jacks places other pedals in the path between the overdrive and the octave section. There is also a separate Dry Out jack that gives a buffered copy of the input signal. The pedal runs from the supplied 9.6VDC power adapter and is mono.
