Pico Canyon Echo

The Pico Canyon Echo is a single-effect digital delay built around the delay engine of the larger Canyon Delay and Looper. Four knobs cover the main controls: Blend sets the wet/dry mix from fully dry to fully wet, Delay sets the time from 8 ms to 3 s, Feedback runs from a single repeat to nearly endless repeats, and Filter adds a low-pass filter below noon or a high-pass filter above it. The filter sits in the feedback path, so repeats get progressively more filtered, which limits the maximum number of repeats at extreme filter settings.

Tempo can be set by tapping the footswitch at least twice, with the LED blinking to confirm. A Tap Div button then subdivides the tapped time into an eighth note, a dotted eighth or a quarter note, shown by green, orange or red. A selectable Tails bypass lets echoes carry on after the pedal is switched off. At maximum feedback, the Infinite Repeats mode loops one repeat with the input removed from the delay path, so it works like a small tape loop that can be played over and warped with the Delay knob.

The pedal is mono, uses buffered bypass and has one input jack and one output jack. It runs from the 9.6VDC power adapter supplied in the box.
