The Nano Bass Big Muff Pi is a small analog fuzz and sustainer pedal for bass. Its voicing follows the tank green Russian Big Muff, and it keeps the familiar Big Muff Pi control layout of Sustain, Tone and Volume. Sustain sets the amount of sustain and distortion, Tone sweeps from high treble to deep bass, and Volume sets the level of the effect.
A Dry toggle switch mixes the original bass signal from the input jack, at unity level, with the output of the distortion circuit. This keeps low end present underneath the fuzz. A footswitch toggles the effect, and an LED shows when it is active.
The pedal uses true bypass and a die-cast chassis. It has a single quarter-inch input and a single quarter-inch output, and runs on an included 9V battery. An optional 9.6VDC-200mA power adapter can be bought separately.
