Cock Fight

The Cock Fight combines a filter, a fuzz and an adjustable bias control in one pedal. The filter has two voicings chosen with a toggle: a CRY setting that imitates the filter found in a typical wah circuit, and a TALK setting that gives throaty, vowel-like sounds. A Freq knob sets the filter position, so a fixed, cocked-wah tone can be dialled in without a wah treadle.

The built-in fuzz has Drive, Tone and Bottom controls, plus a Bias knob that moves the fuzz from a regular sound to a starved, dying-battery character. A three-way switch puts the fuzz before the filter, after it, or removes it from the signal path entirely. Bottom is a low-frequency boost that sits slightly above unity gain at its maximum.

The pedal is mono, with a quarter-inch input and output and buffered bypass switched by a single footswitch with a status LED. An EXP jack accepts an expression pedal or CV to sweep the filter frequency, with the Freq knob setting the maximum sweep range. A 9.6VDC power adapter is included.
