The OD-M61-BK is a two-way speaker with a 25 mm silk dome tweeter and a 6.5-inch polypropylene woofer with a rubber surround, housed in a UV-resistant plastic cabinet. It is sealed as supplied, which gives the most protection against weather. Removable port plugs let the owner convert it to a ported design for more bass when conditions allow.
The design has no large visible knobs, and the mounting brackets sit inside the enclosure. A supplied bracket permits vertical, horizontal, wall, ceiling or corner mounting. The shoulder mount is marked in 15-degree steps to help align several speakers, and the logo rotates to suit either orientation.
Connection is through 5-way binding posts, with wiring hidden under a rear plastic cover that has a watertight grommet. The speaker is intended for amplifiers delivering 30 to 100 W into 8 ohms. It is part of the Muro series and is also offered in white.
