The B700 is a Dolby Atmos soundbar system built around a 5.1.2-channel layout. It combines front speakers, side-beam surround speakers, angled up-firing drivers for height effects and a wireless subwoofer. The rear surround speakers use racetrack-shaped drivers with a larger vibration area, and the system is rated at 175W for rooms of about 50 m².
A single HDMI eARC connection to a smart TV carries Dolby Atmos signals without compression. HDMI also passes 4K HDR and HDR10+ video from set-top boxes, TV boxes and Blu-ray players. AUX, optical and coaxial inputs allow other sources to be connected, and Bluetooth 5.0 handles wireless playback. The subwoofer links to the soundbar over 5.8GHz wireless, so it can be placed freely without a cable.
A small remote control covers power, volume, input selection, sound effects and mute. The soundbar can stand horizontally or be wall-mounted using the bracket components provided. The enclosure is PVC veneer with a metal grille.
