CALLISTO 2 C

The CALLISTO 2 C is a two-way active stand-mount speaker with its amplifier and DSP built into the cabinet. It belongs to the DALI EQUI range and is aimed at smaller listening spaces. The woofer, tweeters and Class D power amplifier are all developed in-house so they can be matched to each other.

The low/mid driver is a 6½ inch woofer with wood fibre cone and a pole piece made from Soft Magnetic Composite (SMC) to reduce distortion. High frequencies come from a hybrid tweeter that combines a 29 mm soft dome with a 17 x 45 mm planar element. The crossover is set at 2,700 Hz and works as a hybrid of full active 24-bit DSP and passive analogue. The cabinet is 25 mm solid MDF with internal bracing, cut at DALI's Danish production facilities.

Audio reaches the speaker wirelessly from the DALI SOUND HUB or SOUND HUB COMPACT at up to 24-bit / 96 kHz. Volume changes are made at the end of the signal chain, whether from the speaker, the remote or the SOUND HUB. With the NPM-2i module fitted in the SOUND HUB, the system supports MQA and streams over BluOS.
