Beschrijving
The DM-2W is an all-analog delay pedal built around a BBD (bucket brigade) delay line, made in Japan as part of the Waza Craft range. It reproduces the sound of the original DM-2 discontinued in 1984 and adds a second voicing for contemporary use.
A mode switch selects between Standard and Custom. Standard recreates the original character with a delay time of 20 to 300 ms. Custom gives a cleaner analog tone and extends the delay time from 40 to 800 ms. Repeat Rate, Intensity and Echo knobs control the delay, and a CHECK indicator doubles as a battery check light.
The pedal has an input and an output jack, plus a separate Direct Out for sending the dry signal and the delayed signal to different destinations. A TRS Rate jack accepts an expression pedal such as the Roland EV-5 for foot control of delay time. It runs on a 9 V battery or a PSA-series AC adaptor, which is sold separately.
