The Behringer FUZZ BENDER is an all-analog fuzz pedal modelled on the fuzz sounds of 1960s rock. Its control layout is deliberately simple: a Level knob sets the output volume and an Attack knob sets the amount of fuzz.
A custom mod switch changes between the original circuit and a modified version that has a different harmonic content. With moderate settings the pedal gives a tone with some edge that follows pick attack, or a smoother, velvety character suited to single-coil pickups and humbuckers alike. With Attack turned fully up it produces an aggressive, heavily sustained fuzz of the kind used in stoner rock and doom metal.
The pedal is designed to fit into a rig regardless of guitar, amp or other pedals in the signal chain.
