The Zhiyun CRANE 4 is a handheld 3-axis camera gimbal for full-frame DSLR and compact cinema cameras. It adds a sling grip, a landscape/portrait quick-release, a built-in fill light and dual follow focus ports for video creators.

The CRANE 4 is a handheld camera stabiliser with a longer arm, stronger motors and an extended quick-release plate, so it can carry full-frame DSLR and compact cinema cameras. A quick-release module with horizontal and vertical locks switches between native landscape and portrait shooting. An adjustable sling grip with a fine-tunable wrist rest supports a sling mode as well as a two-handed mode, and the grip has a 1/4" screw hole for lights and accessories.
A 10W LED fill light is built in, covering 2700K-5500K with a CRI of 95+. Each motor has a balance indicator light to help with balancing. A 1.22-inch colour touchscreen gives access to settings and functions such as motion timelapse. The trigger button and front dial can be assigned to parameters such as ISO, shutter speed and aperture, to the focus motor, or to gimbal mode control.
Bluetooth shutter control works with mainstream cameras for starting and stopping recording or taking photos. Two follow focus ports connect external servo focus controllers, and the gimbal works with the TransMount image transmission system. Power comes from four 18650 batteries, with PD fast charging and charging while shooting.
