DYN 3000-DT

DYN 3000 is a dynamics plug-in that recreates the compressor and gate processing of the Midas Heritage 3000 console, with some additions not found on the original. It offers 4 compressor types and 3 gate types, a built-in presence control, upward and parallel compression, and an external sidechain input.

The presence control is similar to the one on Midas Pro series consoles and adds some air to a compressed signal, for example to keep a vocal open while still controlling its dynamics. The plug-in ships with presets made by producers and engineers as well as tailored settings from the maker's own engineering team.

The DT version adds a desktop controller with analog-feel potentiometers and a high-resolution colour display. The display shows a dynamics overview and the key parameters, so settings can be adjusted with the plug-in window closed. The controller follows the look and layout of Midas console controls. The plug-in supports all modern plug-in standards, with DAW automation and project recall, and pairs with the PEQ 3000 EQ plug-in to form a full channel strip.
