Beschrijving
The GS Mini Mahogany is a scaled-down acoustic based on the Grand Symphony body shape. It pairs a solid mahogany top with layered sapele back and sides, a mahogany Taylor neck, and a West African Crelicam ebony fretboard and bridge. The finish is matte throughout and there is no cutaway, armrest or body binding. It is tuned for a focused midrange with enough volume for solo playing or small jams.
The 23-1/2" scale length and compact body make it easy to carry and comfortable to play, which suits practice on the road, open mics and learning. It ships with D'Addario XS coated phosphor bronze medium strings, a Nubone nut, a Micarta saddle, a black pickguard and die-cast chrome tuners. The neck bolts on with a shim system, and the action is fully adjustable.
There are no electronics, though a separate ES-Go pickup can be fitted. A structured gig bag is included. A left-handed version is offered. It is made in Taylor's factory in Tecate, Mexico.
