The CD-X1500 is a twin CD player built for mobile DJ work. The main unit and a separate remote control unit are both 19 inches wide, and the system is designed around a compact 2U controller size. Playback modes include continuous play, single play and program play of up to 30 tracks, and CD-R/RW discs are supported.
Performance tools include seamless looping, three hot start/cue points, a brake effect, scratch, a filter effect, auto cue, fader start and relay play between the two players. Pitch can be set to a range of +/-0, 8, 16, 32 or 100%, and the key original (master tempo) function keeps the pitch of the music constant when the speed changes. A BPM counter with a TAP key and an anti-shock memory buffer are also included.
For connectivity, the player provides a digital output and a dedicated TT-M1 "Turntable Magic" output. The latter lets it work with the TT-M1 Scratch Controller, so CD audio can be controlled from many popular DJ turntables. The manufacturer lists the model as discontinued.
