CMS 803DC Q

The CMS 803DC Q is a 360 W full-range ceiling loudspeaker from the third-generation CMS range. It uses an 8-inch dual concentric point-source driver with Omnimagnet technology, mounted on a Torus Ogive waveguide. The Q version has an extended waveguide designed for high ceilings and gives a narrow, even 60-degree conical coverage pattern.

The installation hardware includes a self-aligning clamp system with five positions, and a zinc-plated steel back can that is acoustically treated. Wiring goes through a removable locking screw terminal connector that also supports loop-through. A 60 W low-insertion-loss transformer is built in, with tap selection from the front panel. The loudspeaker is UL certified.

The kit includes a paintable powder-coated steel mesh grille with dust protection, two tile support rails and one C-ring. An Arco-style grille that hides the whole unit, and a plaster (mud) ring, can be bought separately. The finish is semi-matt white. It is intended for use with LAB GRUPPEN LUCIA amplifiers, which can drive up to 8 CMS Series loudspeakers per channel.
