The Desktop Fader Tile Plus (DFT+) is a portable control interface for System T. It works together with the Tempest Control App and can be paired with a computer running TCA alongside main control surfaces, so it can be built into custom systems. It offers the same level of control functionality as the S500 fader tile.
The tile gives access to up to 960 channel paths. It has 16 motorised 100mm faders, 15 control layers with four banks per layer, dedicated PFL keys and back stop PFL. Each strip shows a level meter and status LEDs for dynamics, de-ess mode, dialogue automix and remote AFV or production automation control. Input, compression, gate and automix metering is shown per channel, and a three-line OLED screen provides further visual feedback. Super-Q keys spill the sources or destinations of a selected path across the surface.
The enclosure is rugged enough for desktop or portable use, with optional feet for flat or angled positioning. The tile connects to the TCA PC over USB B and has redundant power supplies.
