TL45

The TL45 is a lavalier microphone built around a patent-pending dual-diaphragm capsule that gives about twice the surface area of other subminiature capsules. It is voiced for a natural sound signature with solid low-frequency response and consistent off-axis pickup, so the tone stays steady as the performer moves or turns. Sensitivity is low and maximum SPL is high, which is aimed at loud vocal sources on stage.

Sweat is addressed with interchangeable frequency caps that carry an invisible superhydrophobic nanoscopic coating, meant to prevent sweat-outs during long runs. The cable is only 1.1 mm thick and paintable, so it can be hidden in a costume or wig. It uses a single medical-grade spiral conductor with reinforcing fibers for flexibility and strength, and it resists kinks and memory effect.

The cable ends in a LEMO connector for use with compatible transmitters. Available colors are white, tan, cocoa and black, and clips, mounts, caps, windscreens and a storage case are sold separately.
