Beschrijving
The DP603 is a digital piano in a narrow, linear cabinet that is 35 cm deep. Its keyboard lid doubles as a music rest and closes with a soft-fall motion. The piano sound comes from SuperNATURAL Piano Modeling, which is the same engine used in the maker's larger LX and HP models. Keys are 88 hybrid wood-and-plastic keys with escapement and an ebony/ivory feel. Three pedals are fitted: damper and soft with continuous detection, plus an assignable sostenuto.
For practice it offers a metronome, a recorder for MIDI and WAV, Twin Piano mode for a teacher and student, and built-in songs. A Piano Designer section lets the player adjust resonances, noises and single-note tuning. Headphones 3D Ambience adds a more natural sound on headphones, and two headphone jacks are fitted. Two 12 cm speakers with 30 W each fill a room.
The piano connects to phones and tablets over Bluetooth for audio playback through its speakers and for MIDI with learning apps such as Piano Partner 2. Bluetooth availability depends on the country of purchase. USB Computer and USB Memory ports, stereo line input and output jacks, and a headphone hook and stabilizer in the box complete the connections.
