BRIDGE CAST is a compact desktop hub that connects to a Windows or Mac computer, or to a mobile device, over USB-C. It also works with PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, though some audio formats and USB virtual surround are not supported on those consoles. A 32-bit hardware DSP does the audio processing, so the computer's resources stay free for gaming and streaming.
Two audio buses let the user set a personal mix for monitoring and a separate stream mix for viewers. The mic channel has a Voice Changer derived from Roland's VT series, plus EQ, compressor, noise suppressor, de-esser, low cut and reverb. Other features include 5.1/7.1 USB virtual surround, five Game EQ presets and a delay function for syncing audio to video. Four buttons can trigger sound effects.
The XLR input with phantom power takes dynamic or condenser mics. The headphone jack also accepts a headset or inline mic, and a line output feeds external speakers. An aux input takes a phone or other device. The BRIDGE CAST app, for Windows and macOS, handles settings, button assignments, saved configurations and access to BGM CAST music and sound effects. The faceplate is detachable and the knob LED colors can be changed.
