The Jockey 3 Remix is a metal-bodied DJ controller with a two-channel mixer layout and two jog wheels with adjustable touch sensitivity and drag. It controls four Traktor decks, with input selector switches that assign each channel to a software deck or an analogue source. A 24-bit/96 kHz BurrBrown audio interface is built in.
The performance section has three illuminated modes. Track Deck mode covers playback, cue, loop, effects and beatjump. Sample Mode gives direct access to the sample slots for recording, loading and triggering. Remix Mode recalls effect combinations and adds Roll and Mash modes for chopping or re-triggering a track. The mixer has a 3-band EQ with kill function, filter, gain, 70 mm linefaders and a replaceable crossfader.
It can work as a standalone mixer for turntables or CD players with no computer connected. Outputs are balanced jack and RCA masters plus a booth output, with a mic input, two headphone jacks and a master thru connection. It ships with Traktor LE 2 and can be mapped to other MIDI software such as Virtual DJ.
