3090c

The 3090c is the centre-channel model in the 3000c range and is intended for the front of a home cinema system. It uses two 101 mm mid/bass drivers with a 22 mm tweeter in a sealed cabinet of 6.8 L effective volume, with a stated frequency response of 68 Hz to 30 kHz (-6 dB).

The mid/bass drivers use the C3 Continuous Curved Cone profile, which combines a straight cone's bass behaviour with the midrange control of a flared cone. The tweeter is hermetically sealed and mechanically isolated from the baffle so that pressure inside the cabinet and movement of the neighbouring driver do not modulate it. Point to Point bracing stiffens the enclosure to reduce colouration.

The speaker connects to an external amplifier or AV receiver; the recommended amplifier power is 25 to 120 W into a nominal 6 Ω load. It is offered in four finishes (satin black, satin white, pin oak and claro walnut) and ships with a grille, a foam bung and an owner's manual.
