DDJ-1000

The DDJ-1000 is a 4-channel controller designed around rekordbox. Its jog wheels, mixer section and overall layout follow the club-standard CDJ and DJM gear, so moving between the controller and an NXS2 booth setup feels familiar. Each full-sized jog wheel has a customisable colour LCD in the centre that can show BPM, waveform, playback position, and Hot Cue and Loop points. Jog Feeling Adjust sets the platter resistance.

Performance is handled by 16 back-lit rubber pads per unit, which trigger Hot Cues, Pad FX, Beat Jump, Sampler, Keyboard Mode, Beat Loop and Key Shift. The Page function gives access to 16 Hot Cues per deck. The effects section has four new Beat FX (Enigma Jet, Mobius Saw, Mobius Triangle, Low Cut Echo), 10 Beat FX from the DJM series, and four Sound Color FX: Pitch, Filter, Dub Echo and Noise. Key Shift matches the key of the next track to the master deck. The MAGVEL FADER is rated for over 10 million movements.

Four inputs allow connection of CDJs or analogue turntables, so the unit can also work as a stand-alone mixer. Outputs include Booth and two Master, and there are two mic inputs for PA use. The top panel is aluminium and acrylic.
