Beschrijving
The D-35 is a 14-fret dreadnought built with a solid spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides. Its three-piece back is the model's signature visual feature. The top uses Golden Era non-scalloped 1/4" spruce bracing in a forward-shifted X pattern, which is meant to give a clear, balanced tone with strong bass, defined trebles and rich overtones.
The neck has a Golden Era Modified Low Oval profile with a high-performance taper and a satin finish. Scale length is 25.4" and the nut width is 1 3/4". The bound ebony fingerboard carries Style 28 mother of pearl dot inlays, and the ebony bridge uses bone pins and a compensated bone saddle. Tuners are chrome enclosed gear. The body has antique white binding, a Style 28 multi-stripe rosette and a faux tortoise pickguard. The guitar is Plek-finished and a left-handed version is offered.
This is an acoustic-only instrument with no onboard electronics. It ships strung with phosphor bronze medium strings and comes in a molded hardshell case.
