Beschrijving
This pedal recreates the Guv'nor, a distortion pedal first released in 1988. It delivers a smooth overdriven sound with light compression, and covers everything from soft driven tones to a volume boost for heavier overdrive. The enclosure follows the original design, including its distinctive shape and individually coloured control knobs.
Tone is shaped with five controls: Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble and Level. A Y-insert send/return loop sits after the EQ stage, so other effects can be placed post-EQ. The Y-insert cable is not included.
The unit has a single 1/4" jack input and a single 1/4" jack output. It runs from a 9V battery or a 9V DC power adaptor, which is not included. The chassis is mild steel, and the pedal is designed, engineered and made in the UK. It weighs 0.8 kg without a battery.
