The CINEMA 60 is a Class A/B AV receiver with seven powered channels, rated at 100 W per channel into 8 ohms (20 Hz–20 kHz, 2-channel drive). It decodes Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD Master Audio, along with DTS:X and DTS Neural:X. Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization is also supported. Audyssey MultEQ XT handles room correction, with Dynamic EQ and Dynamic Volume.
The HDMI section has six inputs, three of which support 8K, and two outputs, one of them eARC. It handles 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HLG. It also passes ALLM, VRR and QFT for gaming. Other connections include a phono (MM) input, optical and coaxial digital inputs, a front USB-A port, an AM/FM tuner and a 7.2 preamp output.
Network functions come from HEOS multi-room streaming over Ethernet or Wi-Fi, with AirPlay 2, Bluetooth, Spotify Connect and Roon tested compatibility. A second zone is available. Control options are IP, RS232, the Marantz AVR Remote app and the HEOS app. Voice control works with Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple HomePod.
