The ROKIT 5 G4 is a bi-amplified near-field monitor with a 5-inch Kevlar low-frequency driver and a 1-inch Kevlar high-frequency driver. The matched driver materials are intended to keep tonal character consistent across the frequency range. A Class D power amplifier delivers 55 W, and a built-in brickwall limiter engages at maximum amplifier level to protect the system.
Onboard DSP provides a graphic EQ with 25 settings, operated with a visual LCD, to adapt the speaker to the room. A low-resonance enclosure with a front-firing port is designed for extended low end and flexible placement, and a high-density Iso-foam pad reduces vibration transfer to the surface underneath. A companion KRK mobile app for iPhone and Android offers real-time spectral analysis to help with monitor placement, level matching and subwoofer level.
Input is through a balanced TRS/XLR combo jack. The monitor is sold singly, in black, and a protective grille and the S8.4 powered subwoofer are listed as matching accessories.
