The miniKORG 700FS is a fully analog mono synth based on the miniKORG 700S. It has two oscillators with detuning, a ring modulator and the Traveler controller: two sliders under the keyboard that set the low-pass and high-pass cutoff. The sliders have no stops, so they can cross, and the instrument is built for lead and bass voices.
Several features were added to the original design: a spring reverb, a joystick for pitch bend and modulation, aftertouch and an arpeggiator. A memory program button recalls stored sounds, so knob positions do not have to be written down. The factory presets are arranged in banks A and B, and a PANEL button returns to the sound set on the front panel.
For connectivity it provides a USB port, a MIDI IN connector and a CV/GATE IN jack. A purpose-made hard case is included, along with a software bundle covering iOS apps and Mac/Windows programs.
