Beschrijving
The PRX925 is a self-powered point-source loudspeaker with two 15-inch ferrite woofers and a 1.5-inch compression driver behind an updated image-control waveguide. Class D amplification delivers 1,000 W RMS (2,000 W peak), and the cabinet is built from 18 mm birch with internal bracing and a flared port. It is cooled by convection, so there is no fan noise.
A colour LCD on the cabinet gives access to the DSP suite, which includes a 12-band parametric EQ, automatic feedback suppression, a system limiter and up to 180 ms of speaker delay in 100-microsecond steps. Presets are provided for pairing the speaker with subwoofers. System latency is below 1 ms.
Inputs are two XLR/jack combo connectors and a 3.5 mm stereo aux input, with two XLR loop-through outputs and an XLR mix output. The JBL Pro Connect app on Android or iOS controls mixer and DSP functions over Bluetooth LE, and it can manage up to 10 compatible speakers and systems. Mounting is by a single 36 mm pole socket or eight M10 suspension points.
