The Solidcom C1 is a headset-based intercom for production crews and other teams that need hands-free, simultaneous two-way talk. The master headset has the transceiver built in, so a basic system needs no belt pack or base station. Headsets pair automatically out of the box. Each has a rotatable microphone boom, a directional electret mic with acoustic echo cancellation, and a wideband response of 150 Hz to 7 kHz.
Power comes from detachable lithium batteries, and each headset ships with a spare for field swaps. Remote headsets run about 10 hours; the master runs about 5 to 6 hours depending on how many remotes are connected. Batteries charge in 4-slot or 8-slot charging cases, not over USB.
The optional HUB base adds A/B grouping with two channels, a one-key ANNOUNCE that mutes all headsets, and USB Audio Class over Type-C for joining computer-based meetings. It also provides 2-wire and 4-wire audio interfaces and IP-network cascading of up to 3 systems. It can be powered from NP-F, V-Mount or G-Mount batteries, which are not included.
