The Classic Sub 12 is the largest model in Elipson's Classic Sub range. It pairs a 300 mm driver with a fiberglass composite cone and a 300 W Class D amplifier, and reaches down to 25 Hz. The cabinet is rigid and braced internally at strategic points to limit unwanted vibration.
A DSP adds +6 dB at 33 Hz to keep the low end consistent. The crossover is adjustable from 40 Hz to 160 Hz, so the sub can be blended with large floorstanding speakers. Phase control is provided, and the amplifier switches to automatic standby when not in use.
The cabinet weighs more than 20 kg and has an understated look. The page does not list the connection types, so check the connections and dimensions before pairing it with an amplifier or AV receiver.
