Facecam 4K is a USB-C webcam built around a 1/1.8" Sony STARVIS 2 CMOS sensor and an Elgato Prime fixed-focus lens with an f/4.0 aperture, 21 mm focal length and 90° field of view. It outputs 2160p at up to 60 fps over USB 3.0 (MJPG), with HDR available at up to 30 fps. It has no built-in microphone, so audio needs a separate microphone or headset.
The free Camera Hub app for Windows and Mac adds manual exposure (ISO and shutter speed), pan/tilt/zoom reframing, cinematic LUTs, noise reduction and HDR toggling. Background effects and face tracking need an NVIDIA RTX GPU. Settings are stored in the camera's onboard flash memory, so they carry over when it is moved to another computer. The lens takes 49 mm filters such as polarizers, black mist and starburst.
It connects through a detachable USB-C to USB-C 3.0 cable and works as a UVC 1.5 device with apps such as Zoom, OBS Studio and Discord. A monitor mount is included, and there is a 1/4-inch thread for tripods and desk stands.
