Pico Swello

The Pico Swello applies an attack envelope to every note played, whether single notes or chords, so each voice swells in separately. Short settings soften the pick attack for smooth, flowing lines and arpeggios, while longer settings give slow swells and reverse-style sounds suited to ambient textures and synth-like pads.

Controls are four knobs and a filter button. ATTACK sets the envelope time and VOL sets output level. The FILTER button switches a low-pass filter on and chooses low or high resonance, shown by the LED colour. FREQ sets the filter cutoff, and MOD sets the depth and direction of the filter envelope for upward or downward sweeps. The filter modulation timing follows the ATTACK setting, and MOD is inactive at its centre position.

The pedal has a mono input and output, a buffered bypass and a footswitch with status LED. It is built in the small Pico enclosure and runs from the supplied power adapter.
