The IS-AMP340 is a small Class D amplifier built to serve as a complete TV audio solution for installed speakers. It can run as a three-channel amplifier delivering 40 watts per channel in a 3.1 system, or as a two-channel amplifier delivering 60 watts per channel in a 2.1 system, both into 4 ohms.
On the processing side it includes Dolby Digital decoding with a discrete centre channel and a subwoofer (LFE) output. The ABC (Auto Blend & Calibrate) function handles subwoofer blending and room correction, and is set up through a free smartphone or tablet app. Further DSP includes Auto Room EQ, parametric EQ for each channel, treble and bass controls, and speaker presets.
Sources connect through analog L/R, optical (Toslink), Bluetooth or Ethernet. A web-based interface is provided for setup, and IP-based third-party control is supported, with drivers listed for Crestron, Control4 and RTI. An IR receiver allows remote learning, and an IR emitter output and a 12 V trigger are provided for integration with other equipment.
