X18· Livemixers
The X18 is a rack-mountable 18-input, 12-bus digital mixer with 16 programmable Midas-designed mic preamps, built-in WiFi and an 18x18 USB audio interface. It is controlled from iPad, Android, PC, Mac or Linux devices and suits live sound and studio recording.

The X18 is a compact digital mixer without a built-in control surface. All mix parameters are set from a tablet, phone or computer running the free X AIR apps for iOS, Android, or PC/Mac/Linux (X AIR EDIT). An integrated WiFi module works as an access point for up to 4 clients, or joins an existing wireless network. A wired Ethernet connection is also available.
Each input channel has a low-cut, 4-band parametric EQ, gate and compressor, with Expert and Simple modes for the dynamics. Six aux buses and the main L/R bus provide inserts, dynamics and either 6-band parametric or 31-band graphic EQ, and a 100-band real-time analyzer covers channel and bus EQs. Four onboard effects engines run X32-derived reverbs, delays, compressors, equalizers and other processors, and gain-sharing automixing handles up to 16 open microphones.
For recording, an 18x18 bidirectional USB interface connects to a computer or iPad. A MIDI I/O port allows external controllers, including Mackie Control protocol devices. ULTRANET output carries 16 channels to P16-D distributors or P16-M personal monitor mixers.
