49-key, 8-voice multi-timbral hybrid synthesizer built around wavetable oscillators with analog filter and amplifier stages. It is aimed at players who want 1980s-style wavetable pads, bass and bell tones with a built-in sequencer and arpeggiator.

WAVE is a hybrid synthesizer that generates sound from wavetables, in 8-bit or 16-bit resolution, and shapes it with an analog VCF and VCA. It offers up to 8 configurable voices and is multi-timbral. Each wavetable holds 64 waves, and a further 64 fixed sub-oscillator waveforms add depth. A dedicated sub-oscillator position control is provided.
Sound shaping comes from an LFO and three envelopes, two of which are ADSR envelopes that alter how a wavetable evolves. The 49 full-size keys respond to velocity and aftertouch, so playing dynamics can modulate the sound. A built-in polyphonic sequencer and a dual arpeggiator (up, down, up-down and random modes) support pattern-based playing.
Additional user wavetables and transients can be imported through the SynthTribe app, which is available for macOS and Windows.
